Lights of Love at Thorpe Hall
Get into the festive spirit and support a great cause at Sue Ryder’s Lights of Love Event
The Christmas service is held every December by hospices across the UK, and this Sunday it is at Peterborough’s Thorpe Hall.
Don those gloves, hats and scarfs for this, free open air concert in the gardens of the Hall.
Hosted by BBC Radio Cambridgeshire’s Jane Smith, the event will feature a variety of local choirs, musicians and bands. Including the city’s newest choir Peterborough Take Note Community Choir.
As well as fantastic live music, there will also be hot turkey rolls, stalls and a special appearance from Santa to really get you in the Christmas mood!
At the centre of the event will be the Christmas tree in the Great Hall, adorned with tributes, memories and words of love from supporters.
The concert will go out with a bang at 7 pm as visitors are treated to a spectacular firework display.
Lights of Love which is to help raise money for building work on Sue Ryder’s new hospice takes place from 4.30 – 7 pm on Sunday, 14 December in the gardens of Thorpe Hall. For further information call 01733 225999 or email
