Will reflects on a very successful year for PYC, a choir he has grown alongside the men’s and women’s choirs which have each had their own talents recognised both nationally and abroad. ‘We’ve found the real key to inspiring young people is challenging and developing them to fulfil their capabilities. Whilst it’s great fun, it’s certainly not a social club: our focus with PYC is enabling the young people we work with to develop their skills to the highest possible level not only musically but also in terms of commitment, focus, teamworking and self-discipline – transferable skills which stand them in good stead for success in many fields.’

PYC is now recruiting, with new members always welcome! Rehearsals are at the Broadway Theatre on Wednesday afternoons from 4 pm all year round (including school holidays), and are supervised throughout by a dedicated team of DBS checked adult chaperones.
