More at the Cresset…
Live events are back with a bang at The Cresset this year, and there’s a veritable smorgasbord of delights to choose from. As we move from winter into spring, the green shoots of post-pandemic life are starting to emerge, and shows which we’ve been anticipating for over two years are finally taking to the stage, alongside brand new additions to the 2022 programme.
Strictly fans are in for a treat as this year’s Strictly winner Giovanni Pernice brings his This is Me show to The Cresset in May, and you can get the inside scoop on all things Strictly with Craig Revel Horwood when he visits on 25 March.
Once again, The Cresset is the home of comedy this season, with some of the biggest names on the circuit set to appear: Nish Kumar, Josh Widdicombe, Ed Gamble, Sarah Milican, Jimmy Carr, Jason Manford, Reginald D Hunter, Omid Djalili and Al Murray are all coming soon! And comedy fans can also look forward to the hilarious Menopause the Musical 2 and a naughty adult pantomime – Snow White and the Seven Drag Queens in April. And of course, Peterborough’s longest running Comedy Club is back – a great chance to see some of the circuit’s hottest rising stars.
Local young performers are back on stage too, with RARE productions staging Aladdin in March, and Peterborough based Encore dance, Tu Danse and EB Dance showcasing their talents. We’re also delighted to be hosting thereturn of the UKSDC East Anglia Street Dance Championships in May!
Milkshake! Live makes a welcome return in April, as youngsters see their favourite characters brought to life, and The Little Mix Show always proves a hit with audiences of all ages!
There’s plenty of music on the bill too, with quality tributes to some of the world’s greatest artists in Coldplace, The Upbeat Beatles, The ELO Experience, Be Bop A Lula, The Magic of Motown and more.
You can browse all our events, or view the current What’s On brochure now at cresset.co.uk. Book online, or contact the box office on 01733 265705.
Alongside public live events, we’re delighted to be hosting weddings, parties, conferences and all manner of celebrations at The Cresset. Our shops and services are open, and in our friendly bar and restaurant, The Fayre Spot, there’s live music, televised sport and a warm welcome 365 days a year. We look forward to seeing you soon.
All this and much more at The Cresset, where there’s always something happening!
