The Brothers Groove, AKA Shaun, NIgel and Deano, are not actual brothers – perhaps far more importantly, as the name suggests, they brothers in groove. And not just groove, but soul, funk and blues, too...
On Saturday, 13 December they shake Shakedown Blues Club in Castor, bringing their heartfelt interpretation of the genre to life with real skill and showmanship. In fact, so skilled and showman-like are they, that they were nominated at The British Blues Awards 2014 in categories Best Blues Artist and Best Emerging Band. Talented and committed musicians, The Brothers Groove are certainly artists to catch now while they are on the up… and up.
The Brothers Groove, with support from Malaya Blue, will play Shakedown Blues at Castor Village Hall, Castor, on Saturday, 13 December. Tickets are £17 in advance or £19 pounds on the door.
