Wondrous School of Wizardry
Monday, 27 – Friday, 31 October, 10am-5pm daily. Peterborough Museum
Bring the whole family to the Museum for a magical experience this half term. Join new wizard Erasmus Nettles as he enrols in our wondrous school of wizardry and help him complete challenges that will bring the reality and science of magic to life! Take part in fun experiments that may seem wondrous to the eye – like making your own potions – then discover the amazing science behind them. £3.50 adults, £2.50 concessions, £8 families (under 5s and Heritage Pass holders free). There’s no need to book, just drop in.

City Centre Halloween Ghost Walks
Tuesday, 28 – Friday, 31 October, 7.30 & 8pm. Meet outside Peterborough Museum
Don’t miss the Halloween edition of the ever-popular ghost walks! Explore the spooky side of Peterborough’s past. As always, the Halloween walks are a bit special with costumed ghosts en-route to bring the stories to life! Not recommended for children under 8 or those of a nervous disposition, tours last about 100 minutes. The Ghost Walks have a five star rating on Trip Advisor: ‘No props or trickery, just fantastic enthusiasm and story-telling!’ Adults £5, concessions £3. Early booking is advised.

Halloween Midnight Ghost hunt
Friday, 31 October, 11.30pm-4am. Peterborough Museum
Join us for a candlelit tour of the building, followed by a chance to spend the wee small hours on a real, live ghost hunt. Try various experiments and pieces of equipment, but will you have a real paranormal experience? Strictly over 18s only and not for those of a nervous disposition! £25 per person (over 18s only). Pre-booking essential.

Halloween Horror Night
Saturday, 1 November, tours every half an hour from 6.30pm. Peterborough Museum
Hear about some of the Museum’s many ghost stories by candlelight, but prepare to jump as the stories come to life using costumed actors, projections and other effects. One of the scariest events this Halloween season, and as such not recommended for younger children, the nervous or unwary! Tours set off every half hour from 6.30pm and last just under an hour, strictly pre-booked in advance. £7 adults, £5 students/concessions (Over 14s only).
