The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart

Thu 4th May 2017 7:30 pm

Prudencia Hart has a passion for folk music – as the young academic travels to a conference in Kelso, the snow starts to fall, and so begins a mystical adventure of self-discovery. This beautiful and darkly comic tale is told by a series of mischievous storytellers, sometimes speaking in riotous rhyming verse, sometimes singing beguiling traditional folk songs. It’s a show that will set your toes tapping and your heart racing!  Originally produced by The National Theatre of Scotland in 2011, this brand new Eastern Angles production will tour to forty-five different venues including barns, a church and a pub!

This show will be an immersive experience – part folk-gig, part folk tale and part barn-storming comedy, Prudencia Hart will thrill and haunt in equal measure.
