Meet the Osiligi Maasai Warriors
The Osiligi Maasai Warriors are a travelling group of Kenyan tribes people who tour outside their native nation in order to raise money for projects in Kenya and to raise awareness of their cause.
Since it was founded in 2004, the tour has helped to sponsor children who would otherwise be unable to attend school and has aided the introduction of clean running water to villages in Kenya.
The troupe’s concert involves singing, dancing and audience participation. The fun, energetic performance is fully narrated and tells the story of the lives of tribe members.
Meet the Osiligi Maasai Warriors is free to attend, there will be a retiring collection following the performance with proceeds going to the Osiligi Charity Projects in Kenya and the ministry and mission of Peterborough Cathedral.
