‘The Art of Friendship’ Exhibition
This collection was bought together by Tom Ealand and Dick Warwick who lived in Oundle. Many of the artists who exhibited there became close personal friends and spent holidays with them at their homes in Cherry Orchard Yard, Oundle and Massalubrense, Italy.
The collection came to the Peterborough Museum and Gallery through the generous bequest of Richard Warwick in his will in 1990. The ‘Art of Friendship’ exhibition brings a flavour of the varied and significant collection which played a big part in Tom Ealand and Richard Warwick’s life, adorning all the walls in their house from the music room to the bathroom.
