A screening of short films (English subtitles) highlighting real life Muslim experiences of mental health issues. Raising awareness of cultural barriers and social stigma.

‘The Wayward Son’ short film and Q&A – Nazim Uddin, Reignite – Manchester

DW6 Films presents Wayward, a short documentary film following the journey of Nazim as he battles his mental health demons whilst trying to end the stigma surrounding Mental Health.
The screening of the film will be followed by a talk and a Q&A with Nazim regarding the Reignite movement.

Reignite is a movement focused on offering support for people suffering Mental Health issues whilst trying to end the stigma embedded deep within our culture.
