Take the leap and volunteer for your local hospice in 2020. Make the extra day this leap year count by finding out about Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice\’s volunteering opportunities at a drop in event. Pop into the hospice in Peterborough anytime from 10am to 1pm on Saturday 29th February for an informal chat with current hospice volunteers and staff. You\’ll also be able to bag a bargain at a special sale held by the Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall shop, where items such as clothes and accessories will be £3 or less. Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice has a variety of opportunities to suit people of all ages and all stages of life – from young people starting out to those who are not ready to retire just yet. From providing a warm welcome to visitors on reception and spending time with patients on the specialist inpatient unit to tending the gardens, serving customers in the coffee shop and helping with day to day admin that keeps the hospice running smoothly – there is a role for everyone. Sue Ryder is also looking for volunteers to help out in the on-site Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall shop.
