Huntingdonshire Philharmonic Orchestral Concert

The Huntingdonshire Philharmonic Orchestra are presenting an exciting programme on Saturday November 24th at the Hinchingbrooke Performing Arts Centre in Huntingdon. The concert will feature Schumann’s Cello Concerto, played by German cellist Julian Metzger. Julian Metzger started performing publicly at the age of eight, with concerts across Germany following soon after. He has been living in the United Kingdom since 1990, first studying with Ioan Davies at Wells Cathedral School, then with Stefan Popov at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. The orchestra will also perform Wagner’s Tannhäuser Overture [Dresden version] and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No 4 in F minor. Bjorn Bantock will be the conductor.
