Glasshouse Acoustic Session

Sun 31st March 2019 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Fiddle with your clocks and treat your mum to some live music – it\’s the March Glasshouse Acoustic Session at The Key! This month\’s Glasshouse Acoustic Session sees the welcome return of two greatly-appreciated acts – Graham Cleaver and Oakleas Rise – and an exciting band – Camisayo – making their first appearance at The Key. Graham Cleaver\’s style is mainly blues-based and is mainly developed from his love of Delta Blues. Graham also plays acoustic cover songs from artists who have been influenced by the same style such as The Rolling Stones, The Kinks and Eric Clapton. Oakleas Rise are singer-songwriters Lesley Curtis and Stuart Mcleod. They have been writing and performing together for the last three years creating their own unique blend of music drawing influences from modern pop, folk and country genres. Camisayo is an alternative roots band formed around a kitchen table in Cambridge in December 2017. Initially as a means for friends to get together, Camisayo swiftly began to write original material. The diverse influences and backgrounds of its members results in an alternative take on roots music. Cutting their teeth on the open mic scene, they rapidly emerged as a part of Cambridge\’s flourishing music community. The Session runs from 2pm to 5.30pm, and is free, friendly and accessible.
