Chris Gumbley Quartet

This all star line up features some of the finest players in the East & West Midlands, led by multi-reed virtuoso Chris Gumbley. The quartet will explore classic jazz repertoire including wellknown jazz standards and lesser-known gems from their extensive catalogue.

Completing the band will be Matthew Ratcliffe at the piano & Andrew Wood on drums, who both appeared at Stamford with Tony Kofi as part of the Tenor Legacy band in March. On double bass, California born Tom Hill joins them. Expect an evening of up tempo swing, sultry ballads and fiery Latin inspired live jazz music.
