Cambridgeshire Foraging Courses

Fri 27th March 2020 12:00 pm

The Brampton Mill is a beautiful riverside pub along the River Great Ouse. We will meet here and the course begins with a short introduction on what to look for, our foraging code and a brief of the Countryside Act. Then we’ll set off on a roughly 2.5 hour walk around the area and along the riverside, teaching you how to identify the different edible and poisonous plants and mushrooms that we find. We will stop along the way for some seasonal homemade refreshments such as our lovely hogweed and wild garlic soup or fruit leathers. Then it’s back to the pub for a tasty wild food lunch based on what we have found and some homemade pre-prepared treats. After the course, we will email you a list of everything we talk about on the day to help you to remember what you have learnt. Please see website for full details of times and further course dates at this venue. Adults £50, under 16s £25, under 12s free.
