Dream town
Eastern Angles have worked their theatrical magic on a significant moment in Peterborough’s recent history: the transformation of an old Fenland city into a New Town. The musical tells the story of what went on behind the scenes between architects and planners, and the impact it had on ordinary people at the time.

Goody goody, yum yum
Smashing entertainment rules along with Monty Python during the 60s and 70s, the Goodies were as anarchic as the Pythons but far more playful and daft, with a softer edge that broadened their appeal. Former Goody Tim Brooke-Taylor brings his irrepressible brand of humour to the Key this month.

Finely tuned comic precision
Poking fun at odd British habits and unpicking our cultural differences, German comedian Henning Wehn is back in Peterborough with another portion of efficiently engineered comic observations.

To queue, or not to queue?
Cumberband Bendyscratch takes up the mantle of the tortured Danish prince in this high-profile National Theatre production of Hamlet. Pay a very reasonable price for a first-class view, avoiding queues of screaming fans wearing deerstalker hats, at this live screening from London’s Barbican.

It’s a scream…
What’s Halloween without a ghoulishly ghostly tour by candlelight of the most haunted building in the city? Rubbish, that’s what.
