Quick march
A tender tale to melt the flintiest heart this Christmas, produced and performed by Key Theatre favourites Peut-etre Theatre. The Tin Soldier tells of a new-minted tin soldier standing on a single leg, the last one cast from an old tin spoon. Nearby, he spies a paper ballerina, also standing on one leg, and falls in love… Lots of laughter, mad-cap tomfoolery and silliness, as well as some real lump-in-throat moments: the whole family is sure to love it.

Joy to the world
A proper, old-fashioned carol concert, sung by the talented youngsters who attend the King’s School. Performed in the breathtaking and atmospheric surroundings of Peterborough Cathedral, if you only manage to attend one carol concert this year, make it this one.

Raise a glass
If an ordinary old pint isn’t doing it for you anymore… why, then you need to add some poetry to your life! You don’t have to be a poet in order to join in the fun: if you don’t want to read your own poem you could read someone else’s, or simply sit back and enjoy listening.

The grim and distant past
Not only a completely fascinating (and pleasantly ghoulish) way to spend an evening, Peterborough Museum’s famous Crime and Punishment walk will make you feel even more grateful than usual for the luxuries of a modern Christmas when you learn about the depravations and hardships of incarcerated Peterborians of times gone by…
