Live for The Moment

Levity Festival – 19 – 21 July

Levity Festival is the UK’s only three-day outdoor festival on one site dedicated entirely to comedy, and in this inaugural year is to be headlined by star names Al Murray and Omid Djalili

The festival takes place on Peterborough’s Embankment – using the infrastructure of The Willow Festival – and involves more than 150 acts. Appearing in seven arenas, they’ll be performing just about every kind of comedy, including stand-up, comedy bands, circus acts, stunts, street performers and magic. New acts are being booked all the time, but other star names already on the bill include Chris Ramsey, Richard Herring, Lucy Beaumont, Doc Brown, Stephen K Amos, Alun Cochrane, Maeve Higgins and Phil Cool.

There will also be plenty of entertainment for children and families. A children’s comedy fun area will feature CBBC presenter Ed Petrie, and Stamford-based Wildcats Theatre School will host workshops and musical theatre sessions. There will also be a fully supervised crèche to allow parents to go off and explore the festival fun.

Camping will be available very close to the main festival arena at Potters Way. Levity Festival will be offering varied menus from its food village and fair price bars.
