Egg-streme fun
Sorry about that. But now we’ve got egg puns out of the way, we can tell you about the super family fun day that’s become something of an annual event over at Rose Landscapes. The business boasts a beautifully laid out and large interior, and for this charity event it gets turned over to all manner of Easter-themed larks and games. All proceeds to the wonderfully deserving Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall hospice.

Back in time
Modern life getting you down? Dreaming of a time before cold calls, traffic jams and broadband speeds that definitely aren’t anywhere near as fast as they promised when they sold you the package? Then this weekend is for you. Historians will be on site at Flag Fen, cooking, working and living as our ancient ancestors did over 3,000 years ago. Try your hand at various traditional skills with demonstrations and have-ago sessions over the weekend and dig for ancient artefacts in the replica archaeological dig.

The Scottish play
A passionate and highly original production of Macbeth, one of Shakespeare’s best-known plays. Jatinder Verma’s ground-breaking production takes the work to entirely new territory, providing a modern-day, cross-cultural take on Shakespeare’s tragedy, set in modern Britain and in an extended Asian family.
