These short lunchtime concerts offer an opportunity to experience uplifting works and relax whether you have a lunch break from work or whether you are on holiday. Staff at the Cathedral will be delighted to welcome all visitors to this diverse programme, performed by local, national and international talent.
16 July Charlotte Fairbairn and Matthew Schellhorn (violin and piano)
Modern and baroque violinist Charlotte Fairbairn and pianist Matthew Schellhorn, who has been guest soloist at several international festivals. Both Charlotte and Matthew have performed on BBC Radio 3.
23 July The Aurelia Duo (violin and cello)
The Aurelia Duo are Nandita Bhatia (violin) and Olivia Clayton (cello).
30 July Francis Knights, Dan Tidhar and Chesterton Baroque (two harpsichords and string orchestra)
A special recital with two world-renowned harpsichord players, Francis Knights and Dan Tidhar, along with the Chesterton Baroque string orchestra.
6 August Mike Waldron (organ; see the performance on a large screen)

27 August Amabile Ensemble (voice, violin, piano)
A delightful concert with The Amabile Ensemble, comprising Anna and Paula Downes, and David Honeybourne.
3 September Natalia Williams-Wandoch (piano)
Natalia Williams-Wandoch has studied piano in Poland and at the Royal Academy of Music, London. She has a wide repertoire, including modern composers, but has won particular acclaim performing Chopin. Concert sponsored by Advanced Security Consulting.
All are welcome. There will be a retiring collection at each concert.
