Kissmet: rocking Peterborough, India style!
Kissmet is a world music fusion band than has taken traditional Bhangra music from the fields of India and mixed it seamlessly with Rock (Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Cream). The result is a pulsating, exciting rollercoaster ride of positive energy from the East to the West and back again
Performances have been all over Europe (London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Dublin, Oslo, Helsinki, Zurich, Prague, Gdansk, Amsterdam), Mexico, Goa, on the Main Stage at Womad and in the Rainforests of Borneo. 2014/2015 will take the band to Canada, America, India and back to South East Asia, working alongside organisations such as WOMAD.
There really is, nothing else like it on the planet!
