Earl Thomas is a legend of the blues and soul world, and Shakedown Blues are proud to announce that he’s chosen Castor village hall, via Shakedown Blues promotions, as one of only five UK gigs for Thomas this year.
His I Sing the Blues became a hit for Etta James, and he played European music festivals with such artists as Elvis Costello and B.B. King. In 2013 Earl toured Columbia, South America, Poland, Spain and Lugano Switzerland for the Bop Festival, and is now one of a few artists in the world who can carry a relatively large band of professional musicians and at the same time is able to decide which gigs he wishes to play.
