Ready to run: Embankment Sports and Athletics Arena

Vivacity Sports and Leisure are now offering use of the newly refurbished Embankment Sports & Athletics Arena for free as part of their Vivacity gym membership.

The arena, on the site of the Regional Fitness and Swimming Centre is the only competitive outdoor track and field complex in Peterborough, and boasts a completely resurfaced track and full-site refurbishment.

All track areas have been fully resurfaced and now include four additional 60m sprint training lanes, new long jump pits and throwing circles, and an extension of the shot put area.

Vivacity gym members are invited to use all the track facilities, a fantastic way to keep, do something different and try a variety of different sports for free!

The arena is the home training ground of the Nene Valley Harriers, Peterborough Athletics and PACs Handcycling Clubs, and all enquiries from track and field enthusiasts are welcome.
