Learn New Ways To Cycle This Easter
If your child wants to brush up on their cycling skills this Easter, we’ve got plenty of activities to offer at our sports venues across Peterborough
Fenland Clarion Cycling Club is currently hosting cycling sessions which provide children aged 7 – 15 the chance to learn new skills. The classes, held on a monthly basis at the Embankment Sports and Athletics Arena, are taught by qualified coaches and are perfect for riders of all abilities to get more out their bike in a fun, safe and off road environment.
Also at the Embankment will be have our Accessible Handcycling Sessions, where participants of all ages and abilities can learn how to cycle using their hands. These sessions cost £2 in the morning and £2.50 in the evening, and would benefit those who are disabled or with little or no mobility in the lower half of the body, as well as offering an alternative way of cycling for the able-bodied as well.
There will also be disabled quadcycles, tricycles and tandems to try at our outdoor sessions at Ferry Meadows. Suitable for all abilities, these sessions offer both disabled and able-bodied participants a chance to try these novel and fun cycles in a wonderful outdoor setting.
