Better Your Backhand At Peterborough’s New Tennis Centre

Get your sweatbands on and your biceps ready, as Peterborough will be opening a brand new tennis centre in Orton Centre this month

Registered by the national Lawn Tennis Association, the Bushfield Tennis Centre will offer qualified coaching sessions, quality training facilities, and at incredible value!

With Andy Murray winning a gold medal and the U.S. Open last year, tennis is proving to be the sport of the moment.

And with the new centre offering daily sessions and a variety of classes, getting fit for the summer couldn’t be easier.

By becoming a member, you’ll be entitled to six FREE coaching sessions with a qualified instructor, ideal for beginners or those who have played before, but want to sharpen up their serves. Children’s classes are held on Mondays, and classes for adult beginners are held on Tuesdays.

Fancy tennis with a twist?  Try the new thrice-weekly cardio tennis sessions, guaranteeing to get you working up a sweat and losing inches on the court in no time!

Part of a tennis club? Tennis clubs and advanced players are welcome to join, and we can also help co-ordinate and manage your match play programme.

No need to have your own racquet or balls: tennis equipment is readily available from the centre, and will be offering its nine newly resurfaced tennis courts to members all year round.

The annual fee offers 96 hours of tennis play per week in the summer months and you can book the courts as many times as you wish.

The price for a whole year’s membership for adults is £90, £78 each for couples, and £66 for concessions. Children aged 11-16 can purchase an annual membership for £42, and £24 for 6-10 year old, although they must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
