I Know I Wish I Will poetry competition for 5 – 25 year olds

Win a chance to perform on London’s West End stage!

Metal is delighted to be working with Eastside Educational Trust to celebrate their 25th anniversary year (2019). Together we will be assembling thousands of young people from across England and beyond, to create the world’s longest, youth-led, spoken word poem. Launching on World Poetry Day, 21st March 2019, the I know, I wish, I will project will culminate in a youth-led, live streamed, 25-hour spoken word marathon on stage at the West End’s Criterion Theatre to celebrate World Poetry Day, 21st March 2020.

Thousands and thousands of young people will get their West End debut, performing their own poems at the Criterion Theatre. Simply create your poem and submit it online, and we’ll let you know if you’ve been selected to perform on stage in London’s west End.
