Treasure Island open-air theatre
A modern adaption of much-loved classic 'Treasure Island' with open-air theatre, Sat 17 August at Flag Fen.
Join Chapterhouse Theatre Company for this brand-new adaptation of everyone’s favourite swashbuckling pirate adventure: Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island. When he stumbles across a coveted treasure map, young Jim Hawkins finds himself on an epic adventure in the hope of finding Treasure Island. But not everyone is to be trusted, and a dark secret is lurking on board the ship… Don’t miss this much-loved story (adapted for stage by writer Laura Turner) in the atmospheric surroundings of Flag Fen Archaeology Park.
Adventurers of all ages are invited to join the pirate crew Hispaniola in costume for an interval pirate parade of song, dance and shivering timbers!
Refreshments will be available to purchase on site. Picnics welcome. Please bring your own rugs or low-backed seating. The duration of the show is approximately 1 hour 50 minutes, including interval. Ticket prices are non-refundable. Show continues in all but the worst weather, in which case organisers will endeavour to re-schedule.
