Do you dare your bear?
Bring your cubs and their favourite stuffed toy to Sacrewell on August 30 and 31 for Teddy Bear’s Adventure
If your child’s teddy is always getting itself into sticky situations and awesome adventures then it will love a day at the farm and activity centre near Wansford, where it can complete a number of activities to be awarded with a certificate of un-bear-lieveable importance!
New for this year’s event will be the teddy bear zorbing zone, where teddies can jump in a giant hamster ball and roll down the hill towards the stream. But will it stop in time?
For the first time, we will also be inviting all of our daring bears and their owners to join us for a picnic on the lawn at 12.30pm each day. Please bring a blanket and a picnic. There will also be an area set up at the picnic as a teddy bear photo booth where people can pose their teddies for photos as a memory of the day.
Marketing executive Megan Allen says the team are looking forward to meeting this year’s adventurers.
“It’s an event we have been running for a few years now and each year the bears get even braver. So we thought it would be a good opportunity to meet them all at a picnic,” she explained.
“Not only that, they can pose for photos and take away some great memories of their day out at Sacrewell.”
There will also be the classic activities of zip wiring through the farm, rafting across the Mill Pond, parachute games and bungee jumping from the cherry picker.
Your bear will get a stamp for each activity it completes successfully and if it manages them all, will get a certificate.
Sacrewell is open from 9.30am – 5pm every day. Under 2s visit free. Teddy bear activities are included in the entry price. Normal summer activities will not be running that weekend.
