Benefit concert in aid of Combat Stress
On Sunday, 1 September the Cherry Tree pub on Oundle Road in Peterborough is hosting a live bands day in aid of the charity Combat Stress.
This promises to be a superb day for all ages and will feature great bands such as Jump, The Tom Wright band feat. Rex Gates, The Rocket Dogs and Zeb Rootz.
All the bands will be supported by two of the area’s top DJs, Woody and Lez, with the aim being to raise as much money as possible for the serving and ex-serving personnel of HM Armed, Reserve and Merchant forces.
The event starts with the band Jump at 1.30pm and runs through till about 8.30 pm, with food stalls and activities for everyone. All that is asked is for people to make any financial contribution they can for this very worthy cause.
