Wildwood Restaurant Confirms Opening In Peterborough

Wildwood is set to open a new outlet in Peterborough’s Cathedral Square

The announcement comes hot on the heels of the recent opening of Carluccio’s on Cumbergate and will mean that all the units around Cathedral Square will be fully occupied.

The restaurant serves a variety of grills, salads and freshly prepared pastas and will be open throughout the day as well as the evening.

Wildwood is part of the restaurant group Tasty plc, operated by Samuel and Adam Kaye the co-founders of Italian restaurant chain ASK who also own the Dim T Asian restaurant brand.

Steve Bowyer, Head of Economic development at Opportunity Peterborough, said:

We’re delighted with Wildwood’s decision to come to Peterborough. This represents another important piece of the jigsaw to create a strong dining offer which is already pulling more and more people into the city centre. I am sure this will be a hugely popular addition to the daytime and evening economy and look forward to it being part of our vibrant city centre

Jonny Plant, Chief Executive Officer of Wildwood, said:

We are really pleased to be coming to Peterborough. Cathedral Square is a great location for us and we look forward to providing a high quality, affordable and friendly experience to the people of Peterborough

A planning application for the new Wildwood restaurant on Cathedral Square will be submitted to Peterborough City Council shortly.
