Social Media Workshop

A series of three social media workshops has been organised by the Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce to give people the essential tools to master platforms such as Twitter and LinkedIn

The workshops are aimed at anyone fearful of social media or curious to see why social media is such an essential part of the marketing mix. The first of these seminars will take place at University Centre Peterborough in Park Crescent on Thursday 25 July from 9-11am.

During the initial hands-on session, delegates will learn the basics of social media such as understanding the benefits of social media, who to connect with, how to create a great profile on LinkedIn, understanding the language of social media and how to avoid common mistakes.

Session two will focus on learning how to get the best use of LinkedIn and Twitter tools and integrate this into your marketing strategy, while session three will cover the what, why and how of a social media policy and protecting your data. Tickets to the event (excluding VAT) are £20 for members, or
£30 for non-members.
