Fusion Partnership With Ormiston Bushfield Academy Leads To Two New Appointments

As a result of a partnership with local employer Fusion Contact Services, which began in February 2012, two students from Ormiston Bushfield Academy have secured full time employment at Fusion’s Contact Centre in Bretton, Peterborough

Fusion, through its parent company BGL Group, has an on-going relationship with the Academy focusing on improving the links between young people and businesses.

Daren Homewood, Head of Site for Fusion Peterborough, said:

Fusion is always keen to attract high calibre employees. With the high costs of going to University more school leavers are looking to secure their first step on the career ladder, so there is huge benefit for employers to invest in building relationships with local schools and colleges. We are pleased to welcome Andrew and Jonathon to the Fusion team. They have both been very strong students at the Academy and we are keen to help them build long and successful careers in customer service

Jonathan Kingston one of the students who has taken up employment at Fusion, said:

Andrew and I are thrilled to join Fusion. Neither of us wanted to pursue a University education and would rather focus our time and efforts on gaining on-the-job career experience.
