Bulley Davey Wealth Management – your partner in life
In the wake of COVID-19, the finances of the nation, of businesses and of individuals have perhaps never been under such strain. On top of this is the reminder that you never know when the world will change – and being prepared is essential
Bulley Davey Wealth Management, a sister company of accountancy and tax advisers Bulley Davey, is helping clients through this time by providing timely advice and support on their finances and assets.
As a firm, Bulley Davey Wealth Management positions itself as a partner in the life of its clients; whether insuring income during periods of illness or uncertainty; setting up savings for families as they start a new chapter; or pension planning to ensuring safety and security in retirement.
A new appointment bringing a wealth of experience
The firm recently appointed a new Independent Financial Advisor to join its growing team, which covers clients across the eastern region.
Mark Winterton, who began his career in banking at the TSB in 1980 and left in 2000 to become an Independent Financial Adviser, has joined the Bulley Davey Wealth Management team to support both individual and corporate clients.
We spoke to him about joining the firm, as well as his thoughts on the current COVID-19 crisis: “From my first meeting with Bulley Davey Wealth Management, I knew that we had the same approach to helping clients big and small. The fact that they are aligned with a full-service accountancy firm in Bulley Davey is exciting too and I’m looking forward to seeing how we can work to support our clients across the region.”
Navigating a crisis
Mark’s appointment comes amidst a significant period of crisis and uncertainty for the world, in the wake of COVID-19. When asked about his thoughts on the economic and financial impact, Mark said: “This is no doubt an unprecedented crisis and it is very hard for anyone to say for sure what is going to happen and what the long-term impacts are going to be.
Having helped clients through the ‘Dot Com Crash and the Financial Crisis’ in the past it is about what is right for each individual – getting some guidance to see what your situation looks like and what will work for you is a good place to start.
“This could be reviewing your current assets or simply readjusting your goals or objectives as an individual or as a business during this time”.
