West End to Broadway – Ormiston Bushfield Academy
Ormiston Bushfield Academy, the Specialist School for the Performing Arts brings yet another spectacular musical to the school stage with West End to Broadway, between 29 February and 3 March.
With a cast of over 80 performers, there will be a blend of solo and group performances and song and dance routines from West End and Broadway favourites such as Chicago, Legally Blonde, Wicked, Miss Saigon and Billy Elliott.
Pupils have been involved in preparing for the big show from the very early stages of planning. Posters promoting the performance have been designed by Year 8 students as part of an IT competition. The set has been built by Tony Cook, the Performing Arts Technician, along with members of the backstage club.
Performances take place between Wednesday 29 February and Saturday 3 March. Evening performances start at 7.30pm with a Matinee performance being held on 3 March starting at 4pm.
