Tree maintenance class

Tue 10th July 2012 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Last year the Peterborough community planted 2,216 trees into the Forest for Peterborough.

Now these trees need some TLC. Come along and join the staff from PECT (Peterborough Environment City Trust) for an enjoyable day in the great outdoors, and learn how to nurture young trees into maturity. PECT is the green charity who is delivering the Forest for Peterborough.

You’ll learn how to play an active role in conserving and enhancing local trees and woods.

The venue for the class is Willow Drove in Newborough. The meeting place will be the Boathouse pub/restaurant at Thorpe Meadows. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. Don’t worry about arriving on time. If you are arriving later please contact the Forest for Peterborough Project Officer on 01733 866305.
