Philippa Massey – Plaques, Facts and Misinformation

If you take a walk around Stamford, the chances are you’ll see plenty of plaques on all sorts of buildings, but have you ever wondered why they’re there?

Well if you have, do not worry – Philppa Massey will explain all at the Stamford Art Centre this Thursday.

Philippa will be giving a virtual tour of the historic information plaques in Stamford. She will be explaining not only the history of the plaques and what they say about the buildings they grace, but also what the plaques don’t tell us.
