Unbelievable Bodies – May half term

Fri 1st June 2018 10:00 am

Did you know bones are tougher than concrete? Why does your tummy rumble when you’re hungry? And why does spinning make you dizzy?

At Peterborough Museum this May half term, discover the amazing truth about your unbelievable body! Get involved with our hands-on experiments to explore how your body works – from how your blood pumps, to the tiny ‘soldiers’ which protect us from getting ill.

Popular artist Anthony Gormley takes casts of his body to explore how it relates to the space around it. See what you think as you use one of his sculptures to help discover what you look like, inside out! Gormley’s artwork ‘Places to Be’ will be going up around Peterborough city centre in 2018.

£3 children, £4 adults, £12 families (2 adults, up to 3 children)
