Tasty Talks: The Ancient Greek Games
It is an Olympic double bill at Tasty Talks this month, starting with a talk about The Ancient Greek Games.
We’ll be joined by Stuart Orme, Interpretation Manager at Vivacity, to learn more about the Ancient Greek games, from which the modern Games were inspired. Discover what really happened in the original Olympics, including some of the more odd sports such as the 750 yard dash in full armour!
The talk costs £5, which includes a roll and soup.
