Rejoicing in the Cross: An exhibition of paintings by Karola Onken

Karola Onken was born in 1943 in north-west Germany and has always enjoyed painting. She wants her pictures to give pleasure but also to help people to look at their own lives in new ways. Her large-format acrylic paintings depicting God’s creation and stories from the Bible invite the viewer to reflect on the Christian faith.

All welcome – no ticket required.

As well as being open to the general public, the exhibition also offers opportunities for local schools to take part in activities related to their Art, English and Religious Education programmes.
