City of Peterborough Symphony Orchestra classical concert

Taiwan-born soprano Peyee Chen makes her first appearance with the orchestra to sing a delightful selection of Mahler’s songs, ranging from the whimsical to the deeply tragic.

The second half of the programme comprises Schumann’s Symphony No 3 – an elegant, lyrical and purposeful work.
