The Battle Proms at Burghley is held on an impressive elevated parkland position overlooking the grand Elizabethan architecture of Burghley House – the perfect setting for a classical outdoor concert for summer 2012. As well as featuring in such blockbusters as ‘Elizabeth the Golden Age’, ‘The Da Vinci Code’, and ‘Pride and Prejudice’, Burghley has been home to the Cecil Family for over 400 years.
The House is situated in beautiful parkland designed by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown and the interior boasts a quarter of a mile of staterooms, containing over 400 paintings and a wonderful collection of Japanese porcelain.
