Live for The Moment

What’s on | Editor’s pick 26 August – 1 September

Longthorpe Tower at war!
Spend your bank holiday at war… No, not falling out with the family over whether to go to the seaside or stay at home for a barbeque – rather visiting Longthorpe Tower for a special war-themed activity day. Lots of costumed characters to meet, stories to hear and weapons to heft, as well as the lowdown on ‘news just in’ regarding the Tower’s connection to Richard III.

Chris Ryan in the library… literally!
Chris Ryan, best-selling SAS thriller writer, will be in Peterborough Central Library on Thursday 29 August at 6.30pm to meet fans, sign books and talk about his latest novel, ‘Masters of War’. We at The Moment are really hoping he will arrive by smashing through the window on a length of rope, clad head to toe in black, but due to all the noise this would make we think the library has probably asked him not to.
