It’s motorhomes and caravans galore later this month, when the biggest and best outdoor show of its kind puts the spotlight on these mobile homes away from home in Peterborough
Summer is just around the corner now. And with more and more people choosing to explore their own country rather than jet off abroad for holidays, what better excuse do you need to check out the latest in motorhomes with a major event at Peterborough’s East of England Showground?
The National Motorhome Show, organised by Warners Exhibitions, is regarded as not just the UK’s leading outdoor event of its type but also the largest. It will be packing out the Showground with lots to see, do and buy from April 15 to 17. And it’s going to be an especially packed one this year, with the organisers predicting it will be the biggest and best of all the show’s 21 years in existence. Over 340 exhibitors are planning to attend, with the weekend offering visitors the opportunity to browse all the major manufacturers alongside leading UK dealers and well established accessory, leisurewear and services suppliers and clubs. And, if you’re in the mood for coming away with the ultimate show souvenir, there will be around 800 new and pre-owned motorhomes on display, catering for all pockets from entry level to top of the range vehicles, with the cream of British, European and American models for sale.
If you’re a subscriber to popular magazine Motorcaravan Motorhome Monthly, don’t forget to pop by its special members’ lounge and claim a free cup of tea or coffee while you see what various club offers are exclusively available to MMM members there.
Motorhomes and accessories won’t be the only things to see either, for also taking place over the same dates is the National Park and Holiday Home show. If you’ve ever thought about owning your own static holiday or park home, then this is the place to come. There will be a variety of major manufacturers exhibiting in the indoor Exec Suite, offering a great opportunity to talk to the experts about locations, layouts, requirements and finance. New for visitors this year will be a Real Ale bar as well as the opportunity to win a week for two in a luxury lodge on the edge of scenic Dartmoor in Devon, along with £1000 spending money to make the experience truly memorable.
Admission rates for the day are £7.50 for adults, with children just £2.00. This includes free parking and a free showguide as well. The exhibition area opens each day at 9.30am and closes at 5pm on the Friday (April 15), 5.30pm on the Saturday (April 16) and 4.30pm on the Sunday (April 17).
