Children can get crafty with Treasure from Trash workshops

Throughout April, Peterborough Museum will be running the following Fun for Kids workshops! You’ll find lots of exciting and inventive ways to make better use of your household waste – come along, get designing and see what you can create! The workshops are being run in conjunction with the museum’s Treasure From Trash exhibition, which began on Saturday, 1 February and ends on Sunday, 27 April

Treasure From Trash is an innovative exhibition which actively demonstrates and encourages reusing and upcycling waste products, transforming them into useful artefacts and works of art.

You’ll be amazed at what can be made from rubbish – jewellery from old flip-flops, toy cars and animals from metal cans – even a 3D chicken from plastic bags!
